THE RECORD OF OSCAR GLOUKH

Oscar Gloukh, least successful home player in UCL history

21-year-old Israeli attacking midfielder Oscar Gloukh set a new negative record in the Champions League this season.
He has lost all four of his home matches with Ajax at the league phase, and also previously suffered a defeat in each of his seven home matches with his former club, Red Bull Salzburg, in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns.
Thus, of the 11 home Champions League matches that are on his tally at the moment, Gloukh has lost all 11.
No one in the tournament's history has lost so many home games in a row. The previous record for such a streak belonged to Bosnia's Amar Dedić: 10 defeats in a row between 25 October 2022 and 5 November 2025 (8 with Red Bull Salzburg, where he was a Gloukh’s team-mate, and then 2 with Benfica). Dedic’s streak ended by a Benfica’s 2-0 home win over Napoli on 12 December 2025.
Gloukh's run could yet continue in his next Champions League campaign.
Interestingly, his away matches have been essentially more successful: he's managed to avoid defeat in five of his 11 matches. All five of his goals in the tournament have also been scored away from home.
