IFFHS MEN'S WORLD BEST GOAL SCORER 2026
IFFHS Men’s World Best Goal Scorer 2026 at 31 January: Ivan Toney
Ivan Toney of Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli is the first intermediate top scorer in the 2026 World goal-scorers’ contest. In January, he played only in the national league - seven matches, totalizing 12 goals.
Three players from the January rankings managed to score 6 goals in a single match: Patrick Hoban, Teto Martín and Sekou Sonko.
Hoban scored on 3 January his six goals for Glentoran (against Carrick Rangers, 7-0) in the first 52 minutes of the match, before being immediately substituted. It left anyone wondering how many more he would have scored had he played the full match.
