Liverpool’s scoring run in EPL: joint-second longest in history
Liverpool's 0-3 defeat to Manchester City on 9 November ended their 44-game scoring streak in the English Premier League.
This is the Reds' best run in their history in the domestic top flight. The previous club record was 36 consecutive scoring games between March 2019 and February 2020.
In the ranking of the longest goal-scoring streaks in England's top division since its inception in 1888, Liverpool's run ranks joint-second with Manchester City's between October 1936 and October 1937.
Arsenal's national record of 55 games (from May 2001 to November 2002) remains untouched.
