CONMEBOL WOMEN’S COPA LIBERTADORES
The 16 teams qualified for the Copa Libertadores final stage have played their Group games and 8 qualified for the quarter finals this week end.
CORINTHIANS – BOCA JUNIORS
Winner of 5 Copa Libertadores (3 in the last 5 years), Corinthians is favorite in this quarter final. Winner of the Group stage, Gabi Zanotti (3 goals) and her team have the power to join the Top 4 of the competition. But Boca Juniors has never conceded a goal in the Group of Ferroviaria .
FERROVIARIA – IND DEL VALLE
Ecuador’s champion (1-1 vs Corinthians) is un beaten and has in Ambar Torres an efficient goal scorer. It will be a difficult game for Ferroviaria, one of Brazil’s top teams to continue their road, wishing a third Copa Libertadores .
COLO COLO – LIBERTAD LIMPENO
Chile’s champion Colo Colo is the only team to have won their 3 games and Mary Valencia has scored 100% of their goals (4 in 3 games) ! They defeated Sao Paulo and so they are favorites vs Paraguay’s champion Libertad, which conceded 3 draws in the Group stage without defeat.
DEP CALI -SAO PAULO
Colombia’s champion Deportivo Cali (7 points in 3 Group games) will face Brazil’s Sao Paulo in a great quarter final. Defeated by Colo Colo (2 Copa Libertadores), Sao Paulo took only the second place of their group and will meet another favorite.
