Most titled players in each of Europe’s top 5 leagues
This table shows the players who hold the record for most league titles in each of Europe's top 5 leagues.
Last season, Marquinhos set a new record in France (10 titles with PSG).
Thomas Müller extended his record in Germany to 13 before leaving Bayern, the club with which he achieved this feat.
Remarkably, each of the five record holders became champions with only one club. The oldest of the records is the Spanish one. It has been held for more than half a century and has outlived its owner, Francisco Gento.
A title is credited to a player if he held at least one league match for the champion club.
For Buffon, not included are the 2004–05 and 2005–06 Italian Serie A titles, revoked from Juventus following the Calciopoli scandal.
