By scoring for Real Madrid in the 2025 Club World Cup (in the quarter-final vs Borussia Dortmund), Kylian Mbappe became the first ever player in the club’s history to score in 7 different competitions during the same season.
The previous Real Madrid record holder was another Frenchman Karim Benzema who scored in 6 competitions in the 2022-23 campaign.
