THE MOST PROLIFIC DUO
Team-mates scoring 10+ UCL goals in same season
Multiple players from the same team scoring 10+ goals in a single Champions League campaign is a quite rare feat.
Barcelona’s prolific strikers Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha achieved it this season having a tally of 11 and 13 goals respectively.
In all the previous history of the competition, the similar happened only twice (see the table).
In one of these cases (Liverpool in 2017-18) it was no fewer than 3 players to have reached 10-goal mark.
Also, Lewandowski and Raphinha, were close to finish the UCL 2024-25 season as competition’s two top scorers representing the same team, but Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy impeded them to fulfill this rare feat.
Messi and Neymar in 2014-15 are still the only pair of team-mates (in Barelona) to be on top of a UCL season’s scorers’ chart (in that case, Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo accompanied them as another player to finish with the same amount, 10 goals).
