Statistics on Champions’ League semifinals (April 30, May 1)

Bayern vs Real Madrid 2-2

*Real Madrid have tied 4 UCL games (vs RB Leipzig 1-1, vs Manchester City 3-3 and 1-1, vs Bayern 2-2) for the first time.

*Leroy Sané has finally scored for Bayern breaking his negative series of 25 games in all competitions in which he failed to do it.
His last scoring game was on 28 October 2023 (a brace vs Darmstadt 8-0).

*Harry Kane was already involved in 11 Bayern goals (8 goals and 3 assists) in the UCL this season; no English player had amassed more in a single campaign of the competition.

after Cristiano Ronaldo (4 editions: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015), Jari Litmanen (1995, 1996, 1997) and Kevin De Bruyne (2021, 2022, 2023).

*Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) has made his 32nd appearance in the Champions League;  only one player in the history of the competition has made more before turning 21 years (Cesc Fàbregas, 34).

*Carlo Ancelotti remains unbeaten as a coach vs Bayern (6 games, 3 draws in 9 games). Among coaches that were never defeated by this opposition, he has much more one-to-one encounters (the next are Pep Guardiola and Zinedine Zidane with 4).

*Warren Zaïre-Emery (PSG) became the 2nd youngest starter in the UCL semifinals (at 18 years 54 days).
He only concedes to Julian Draxler who with Schalke vs Man United in May 2011 at 17 years 226 days. 
Kylian Mbappé is the third in this ranking: he started with Monaco vs Juventus in May 2017 at 18 years 134 days.
