For the first time, we publish the ranking of players who have scored the most top-level goals after turning 40 years in the XXI century.
Aleksandar Đurić (113 goals) leads it by a large margin. 
José Sand, who retired few months ago, surpassed Romario and lifted to 2nd place with 44 goals.
Two players from the top 10 are still playing at the top division level, Rodrigo Tabata (at 43) and Roque Santa Cruz (at 42).
