Copa Libertadores: statistics on group stage match-day 5 (6-8 June) 

*Flamengo, with the 2-1 win over Racing Club, have beaten the Copa Libertadores historical record of best streak of consecutive matches scoring. It was their 25 such game in a row.
The previous record belonged to Santos (24 games between 1962 and 1984). 
Last game where Flamengo didn’t score was 0-0 vs Vélez Sarsfield on 27 May 2021.

*Boca Juniors (1-0 vs Colo Colo) have surpassed the group stage of Copa Libertadores for 19th time in a row: new record in the competition. 
They have not been eliminated in a group stage since 1994.

*Alianza Lima (0-1 vs Atlético Mineiro) continue their series of winless home Copa Libertadores games. It was 18th such game in a row: the longest such series in the history of competition, lasting since 2012.

*Bolívar (2-0 vs Cerro Porteño) became the 9th team, and the first Bolivian, to reach 100 victories in the Copa Libertadores (after River Plate, Nacional Montevideo, Boca Juniors, Peñarol, Olimpia, Palmeiras, Cerro Porteño and Grêmio).

*Patronato’s 0-5 loss to Melgar became the 6th defeat with 5+ goal difference in the Copa Libertadores history, suffered by Argentine teams from foreign clubs.
The previous of them was Tigre’s 0-5 from Palmeiras on 21 October 2020.
The heaviest of them was Arsenal’s 0-6 from Fluminense on 5 March 2008.

*Palmeiras wins a Copa Libertadores match (4-2 vs Barcelona Guayaquil) after losing 0-2 for the 2nd time in their history (it was also achieved on 26 April 2017 against Peñarol).

*Francisco Fydriszewski became the 5th Barcelona player to score a brace in the first half of a Copa Libertadores match, after Félix Lasso (1967), Galo Vásquez (1983), Raúl Avilés (1993) and Iván Kaviedes (2004).

*In the meantime, Fydriszewski is also the 6th player who scored a brace against a Brazilian team away from home in the first halftime of a Copa Libertadores match, after:

*The expulsion of Edison Caicedo (Aucas) in 10th minute of the game vs Ñublense (0-0) is the earliest of an Ecuadorian player in the Copa Libertadores since the red card given to Pavel Caicedo (Emelec) in the 9th minute vs Estudiantes Mérida on 21 April 1999.
