The Ivorian Sébastien Haller (Ajax) has become the main sensation of the first round of Champions League group stage.
*Haller became only the 2nd player to score 4 goals on his Champions League debut. The first was Marco van Basten in November 1992 (Milan, vs Goteborg).
*Haller is the 10th player to score a hat-trick on his Champions League debut.
*Haller is the first African player to score 4 goals in a Champions League match.
*Haller has scored within 68 seconds of making his Champions League debut. This is 2nd fastest goal of CL debutant. The record belongs to Andreas Möller who scored at 37 seconds on his competition debut in 1995.
