Since 2008 to 2020, Marek Hamšík has played 40 consecutive games of his team (Slovakia) in the European championships (including qualification and final tournaments). This is longest series in the history of the competition so far.
Hamšík is expected to play in the finals of Euro 2020 at summer, so he can extend his record.


Marek Hamsik scored a wonderful goal at the EURO 2016 against Russia.
