MANUEL NEUER FOR THE FIFTH TIME !
They are now 3 ! After Iker Casillas (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012) and Gianluigi Buffon (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2017), Germany’s and FC Bayern’s captain Manuel Neuer became the third World Goalkeeper in the History (since 1987) to win 5 times the Award of THE WORLD’S BEST MAN GOALKEEPER of the Year by IFFHS.
He won the ranking 2020 sovereign with 320 points, his second Jan Oblak counting only 40 points and last year’s winner Alisson Becker 30 points. Manuel Neuer was the leader of his club FC Bayern München, winning all national (Bundesliga, DFB Cup, Super Cup) and international (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup) competitions in 2020 with great performances in the important games. After 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, the « Wall » Neuer is back !
