All-time top scorers in CONMEBOL competitions

Colombian striker Miguel Borja (picture), since beginning of this year a player of Al Wasl (UAE), has left South America as the best goal-scorer of the continental club competitions in XXI century.
33-year-old Borja stopped his participation in them with a tally of 46 goals, including 31 in Copa Libertadores and 15 in Copa Sudamericana, what is 3 goals more than all others have scored in the current century.
In the all-time ranking, Borja takes the 2nd position, only behind the long-term record holder Alberto Spencer (54 goals).
All international club competitions under the auspices of CONMEBOL are taken into consideration.
Also, Borja’s 31 goals in Copa Libertadores is the new record among his compatriots. He surpassed Anthony de Ávila who accumulated 29 goals in the competition.
