Ludogorets and Ferencváros will meet each other no fewer than five times during the current European season what is a new record in the history of major European competitions.
Never before had a pair of teams played so often in a single season. The maximum was four games (many such cases).
They are now confronting in the Europa League play-off round (Ludogorets won 2-1 in the first leg yesterday). And this is already the third time in the 2025-26 season that the draw has brought them together in different tournaments (Champions League, Europe League), which is also a unique case in history.
Next and last time they will meet again in Budapest on 26 February.
