1300 GAMES - CRISTIANO RONALDO FIRST EVER
Cristiano Ronaldo, first ever to reach 1300 games!
Cristiano Ronaldo has played on 27 December his 1,300th career match, for Al Nassr vs Al Okhdood (3-0), making him the first footballer in history to reach this milestone.
The 40-year-old Portuguese has narrowly surpassed Fluminense goalkeeper Fabio, who, being five years older, is also approaching the mark.
The table shows the first players to reach the previous milestones. Notably, Cristiano Ronaldo is the first player on this list not to represent Great Britain.
It took 34 years from the conquering 1,200 games (by Peter Shilton in 1991) to the time of reaching 1,300.
Only top-level games are taken into account (specifically, games from lower divisions are not included).
