RECORD FOR ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI
Lewandowski, best ever scorer in top 5 leagues at age 30+
Robert Lewandowski became in November the new record holder amongst all strikers ever performing in top 5 European leagues.
A hat-trick in the Barcelona’s game vs Celta (4-2) on 9 November and then another goal vs Athletic Bilbao (4-0) past Saturday raised Lewandowski’s tally to 209 goals in the Big Five after he turned 30 years (132 for Bayern in Bundesliga and 77 for Barcelona in La Liga).
Thus, RL9 overcame Cristiano Ronaldo who notched 206 goals in the leagues of Spain, Italy and England when he was 30+ years old.
Though CR7 is still active, he can not now extend his tally as he stopped to play in top 5 leagues since joining Al Nassr.
