ECC CLEAN SHEET RECORD HOLDER

Pepe Reina retired as ECC record holder for clean sheets

Pepe Reina has ended his career after the 2024-25 season as a sovereign record holder for most clean sheets in the major European club competitions (78).
No other goalkeeper in the history has even reached 70. Manuel Neuer has most clean sheets (64) among active goalkeepers but he is yet far enough from the Pepe Reina’s mark.
Here we publish for the first time the ranking for goal keepers who didn’t concede goals in most games at European club competitions.
A clean sheet is credited to a goalkeeper if he does not concede goals in the game, regardless of how much time he spent on the pitch.
