*Panama haven’t lost any of their last 16 games against Central American teams (11 wins and 5 draws). 
This run is going on since Panama’s defeat to El Salvador in a friendly 3 years ago.

*Panama are the 3rd team that won 3 of 3 group stage matches and were eliminated in the Gold Cup quarterfinals, after Jamaica in 2011 (eliminated by the United States) and Costa Rica in 2021 (eliminated by Canada).

*Honduras became the first ever senior national team tournament (in any confederation) that reached the semifinals of a continental championship having lost their first match by 6+ goals (0-6 vs Canada).
