Désiré Doué’s set few records at PSG extravaganza

Désiré Doué, one of main heroes of outstanding PSG performance in the Champions League final 2025, achieved some feats worth to be mentioned.

*He is the first player with 3 goal involvements (2 goals and 1 assist) in the history of the Champions League finals (since 1992).
Including the European Cup era, he is the first player to score a brace and provide an assist in a final since Sandro Mazzola with Inter against Real Madrid (3-1) on 27 May 1964.

*Doué is the first ever teenager to score a brace in the final of the competition (aged 19 years 362 days).
In this regard, he beat Eusébio who scored 2 goals for Benfica vs Real Madrid (5-3) in 1962 at 20 years 97 days.

*Doué is the first ever French player to score a brace in the final of European Cup/Champions League.
In a final of other European competition, it was already achieved by two his countrymen:
Djibril Cissé (Liverpool) against CSKA Moscow in 2005 (Super Cup),
Antoine Griezmann (Atlético de Madrid) against Marseille in 2018 (Europa League).

*Doué became the 6th player to both score and assist in a Champions League final, being the youngest of all them. 
The only other teenager with a goal and assist in a European Cup final is Brian Kidd (19 years exactly) with Manchester United in 1968 vs Benfica (4-1).

*Doué became the 6th player to scored 2+ goals in a single Champions League final in the XXI century, after:
Hernan Crespo in 2005,
Filippo Inzaghi in 2007,
Diego Milito in 2010,
Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017,
Gareth Bale in 2018.

*PSG are the first ever team to have two teenagers score in the same final of European Cup & Champions League: Désiré Doué and Senny Maluyu (19 years 14 days).
In the ranking of the youngest players to score in a European Cup/Champions League final they taake now the 3rd and 5th places.
