-       Netherlands won with a comfortable 2-0 over South Africa to join the quarter finals, colliding there with another European giant, Spain !

-       Jill Roord, the new Manchester City player, bagged her fourfth goal in the World Cup to give quickly the best position to her team.

-       South Africa lost in the first half one of their best players Jermaine Seoposenwe due to an injury.

-       It was the best result in the History for South Africa to join the 1/8 final at a World Cup.

-       Netherlands and South Africa were already in confrontation last year with also a win of the Dutch team 5-1, already with a goal of Lineth Beerensteyn, back in the team today after her injury.
