Alexandra Popp scored her 4th goal, but it was not enough !


-       For the first time in History, Germany is eliminated in the Group stage ! After Canada and Brazil, another favorite of the tournament went home.

-       In 8 World Cups, Germany finished always minimum at the quarter finals (2 World Cups won) !

-       Germany lost only two of the 27 Group stage games, scoring in 26 games.

-       So Huyn Cho is the first South korean Player to add 10 World Cup games ! She scored also the korean goal.

-       Colombia and Morocco will both take a place in the knockout stages after the surprising draw of Germany !

-       Morocco is the best of the 8 debutant teams in a World Cup, earning two victories and quaalifying for the next round ! Absolutely extraordinary !

-       Morocco, coached by French Reynald Pedros,  have now a monumental competitive clash against France in 1/8 final !

-       It was the first time in History that Colombia met an African team at a World cup.

-       Colombia will encounter a defensively resolute Jamaica in 1/8 final. Jamaica has 3 clean sheets against France, Brazil and Panama !
