The Cameroon Sports literature has seen the arrival of new book entitled "ECHEKS' DIARY: Memoirs from more than 1/3rd-of-a Century Reporting Sports Facts & Figures" written by the country's most regular international sports reporter over the last three decades, Fon Echekiye, member of the Executive Committee of the IFFHS since 2019.



 
The 829-paged book with 40 of them in color touches on the personal and professional life of the author during his 6 FIFA World Cup and 12 Africa Cup of Nations coverage repertoire, as well as a compendium of some 100 of the more than 5000 stories he wrote during his active service at the State-run Cameroon Radio and Television, CRTV.

The facts and figures registered through out Fon's three-decade career covering the Cameroon National Football Team, Indomptable Lions and their exploits and other huge national and international sports events are a gift to sports men and women as well as officials in Cameroon and abroad.
