*The group stage game Costa Rica vs Martinique (6-4) on 6 July became the first ever in Gold Cup history with 10+ goals scored. (Picture) 

*10+ goals have not occurred in a final phase match of a continental tournament since 8 July 2002 (Australia vs New Caledonia 11-0, the Oceania Nations Cup).

*Costa Rica had not been involved in a match with 10+ goals for since 24 July 1955 (9-1 victory against Guatemala in a friendly). 
It is the first ever competitive game for “Ticos” with a double-digit number of goals.

*Costa Rica have scored 6+ goals in a Gold Cup match last time in 1998 (7-2 against Cuba).
