Statistics on Europa League/Conference League semi-finals of 18 May

*Three Italian clubs have qualified for the finals of the major UEFA club competitions (Inter in Champions League, Roma in Europa League, Fiorentina in Conference League).
Last season with so many Italian clubs in the finals was 1997-98 (Juventus in UCL, Inter and Lazio in UEFA Cup).
Last season with an Italian club in the final of each of 3 different competitions was 1993-94 (Milan in UCL, Parma in Cup Winners’ Cup, Inter in UEFA Cup).

*Roma, with 0-0 in 2nd leg of UEL vs Bayer, have reached the final of a major UEFA European competition for the 2nd time in a row (also Conference Cup in 2022); as many finals as in the whole previous history of the club (1984 in European Cup, 1991 in UEFA Cup).

*Sevilla have won 9 two-legged ties in the Europa League knockout stages out of 9 when they played at home in the 2nd leg.
With this 2-1 vs Juventus, they have won 24 of their last 27 games in the competition at home (drawing 2 and losing 1).

*Sevilla have qualified for their 7th final of UEFA Cup/Europa League. They won all 6 previous finals (2006, 2007, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2020).

*Fiorentina have reached their 5th final in UEFA competitions (UECL); the last one was in UEFA Cup in 1989-90.

*Nicolás González became the 2nd player in Fiorentina history to score a brace in a semi-final of an UEFA competition (3-1 vs Basel), after Kurt Hamrin vs Újpest in Cup Winners' Cup in 1961-62.
