Mohamed Salah ties African scoring record in English Premier League.

The record kept by Ivorian, Didier Drogba of 104 goals scored in the English Premier League had stayed unscathed for half-a-dozen years until last Saturday.  It got equaled at the 54th minute of the Watford vs Liverpool game at Vicarage Road when Egypt goals poacher, Mohamed Salah rocketed past  keeper Ben Forster in a game in which the hosts got drowned 0-5. In the same game, another African, Sadio Mane of Senegal became only the third African to score 100 goals in the English Premier League.

Salah, 2-time BBC and CAF golden boy of the year joined Chelsea in 2014, coming in from Basel and scored 13 goals that season before double loans in Italy, and then later scoring 19 goals for Liverpool to break their 30-year jinx in wait for local title where since, he has not scored less than 15 goals a season.  His latest achievement means he has just a goal to score to become the only African to have achieved the feat of 105 goals in the English Premier League.
